Hike to Woodbine Falls

We're sure enjoying what's left of our Summer days together before Daddy goes back to work. Elijah is getting pretty used to having Dada wake him up and around to play and run errands. Sadly, the couple days where Dada is gone fishing and Mama wakes him up... all I hear is "where'd dada go?" He sure loves his daddy. Pretty soon E will get used to just having me wake him up every day when Dada is a busy workin' man again.

Anyways, we're loving these days where we eat breakfast together, run errands, play, nap, and hang out with family. It's been a blast, to say the least! On Wednesday we drove up to Woodbine campground and met Nana & Papa. It was CHILLY! We left Billings where it was raining and drove up to the campground. It wasn't raining there, but it was pretty cold! I was glad I packed a stocking cap for Eli! He looked a little silly, and in some pictures I joked that he looked homeless. Dirt on his face and not very well put together! HA! He didn't care! And, he didn't seem to mind being chilly.... that boy was in heaven! We decided we have to take him camping sometime. He loved being in the dirt, exploring the woods, finding pinecones, and collecting rocks. He was SO dirty but SO happy. It was fun to watch him explore around. Of course, Nana and Papa were very happy we joined them for the day. Papa made us a yummy hotdog and hamburger lunch and then we went on a little hike up to the falls. Daddy carried E in the backpack and I carried LT in the Ergo. It was pretty perfect and definitely fun!

Eating a hearty lunch before our hike!
