Life lately: Mostly tempers and trying to walk!

SO.... our life recently has become dealing with temper tantrums. They're here. And, we don't like them.
It's sad when we are rejoicing after a simple trip to Walmart that didn't end in a meltdown. Wow.

Meltdowns, attitude, and temper tantrums have started and it was an exhausting couple days. Mix that with 4 teeth coming and the little man was not too fun to be around, to say the least. Sure, we still love him. But I've never wanted a date night so badly till recently. Ha! :) We attempted an evening out downtown on Saturday as a family-- we didn't even last an hour till meltdown number one occurred and we left to go home. Church today was pretty much a mess and I passed E on to daddy to wrestle him while I sat and listened to the sermon alone. So- after mama shed some tears and daddy and mommy had a long talk- it's time to nip these in the bud and start some serious discipline, time outs, and not letting E get away with his attitude and behaviors. We just love our sweet boy and want to raise him how God has told us to. Wish us luck, I think we have our hands full! :)

Other news: E is still working on trying to take a few steps here and there. Sometimes he's interested and wants to work on it. Other times he could care less. Tonight he took 3-4 steps at one time, his best yet! We'll see- I still think he needs to work on his balance and working on standing by himself without holding on to anything. He's pretty cute when he gets so excited and starts huffing and puffing and chuckling as we try to encourage him to walk on his own!

By the way Mr E: when did you get so big??

He also likes to play with his stackable cups. Right now, he can't quite stack them, but he likes to put them inside each other. It is fun to see his little mind at work and learning so much these days!

Also, Mama got some MUCH needed cuddle time tonight. I told daddy to grab the camera and snap some pics. It was priceless. The cuddles couldn't have come at a better time- refer to above paragraph that explains how her son's behavior has caused her tears and exhaustion. :)

Here he is lookin' so dang cute kickin' his legs and smiling!
I love this E!

Kisses for daddy.
E gives the BEST kisses lately and we can't get enough!

Oh, we love you sweet, sweet boy. <3
Very sleepy little man.

Kisses from mama. :)

Well... tomorrow is the start of school for Colin and mama watching Eli's friend Libby on Mondays.
After a tiring weekend- we're hoping for a good day! :)
