Pancakes and the Park

We're really loving these cooler fall-like days around here! Seriously LOVE it. Love everything about fall. Cooler temps, sweater weather, yummy scents, pretty leaves, pumpkin patch, gorgeous colors, pumpkins, warm treats, and the list goes on!! Even Elijah is getting into the pumpkins and fall leaves this year! It's so much fun. He loves the pumpkins we brought home to decorate our house. And he Insists on sitting on them whenever we go outside. He is really enjoying pointing out all the leaves in the yard "yellow, green, orange" I pray we get a LONG good fall. It's my favorite time of year and it always seems to go by in a flash!

How handsome is this cute little man!?!?

Last night we enjoyed making a yummy pancakes! It was breakfast for dinner and Elijah just loved it. He is really into helping us out lately. He loves to help "cuk" anything. He loves helping put away the "deeshes". He's getting into setting the table too! It's such a fun age... even with the tempers and challenges... it's a blast! So, we brought the chair over and Eli got to help mix up the pancakes and watched daddy make them! To his surprise-- Daddy even made him a special Mickey Mouse pancake. The kid was elated!! Anything Mickey Mouse is awesome in this house lately! haha!

So proud he gets to help!!

This is Serious Work!

Silly Grins

Realizing it's Mickey Mouse!

After a yummy pancake dinner we enjoyed a lovely stroll to the park nearby! Perfect temps for hoodie sweatshirts and a lovely family walk! We had so much fun. The colors are JUST starting to change and it's such a beautiful sight. I cannot wait till the leaves are just perfectly colorful for fall and we're planning on doing a little family photo shoot! (We'll see how well they turn out!) I'm desperate for some cute family photos because we have no nice ones since Lukey has joined us!

Lukey boy loves looking all around at the sights!

Loving the little peek of gorgeous color!

Gorgeous glimses of fall!

Eli could have played in that creek all night had we let him!

It was a perfet fall evening with our sweet little family. Very thankful!
