Saturday we tried out the egg dyeing.
First, Elijah was playing with his easter basket goodies from Oma & Opa.
Here is E inspecting all the colors.
He was learning the colors of each dye.
Although, for now, every color is "bbblue"
So serious!
He got the hang of dropping the eggs in the dye pretty quickly.
Yum! Then he tried eating them!
So serious!
I just LOVE those beautiful eyelashes!
Our finished eggs!
Only one turned brown from Elijah dropping the egg into different dyes ;-)
Bath Time after our messy egg dyeing experience.
LOVE these smiles!
Easter Sunday consisted of a wonderful church service, hanging out with good friends, yummy dinner, crazy temper tantrum/meltdown by a certain blond-haired little boy, attempting to take cute family photos which failed due to said kid meltdown, kids watching Elmo while the adults enjoyed visiting, and coming home exhausted and in bed by 8:00. Wowsa! It was a wonderful weekend that went way to quickly. We are truly blessed!!
E inspecting his Easter basket.
This year- it was CARS themed, of course!
He loves loves loves anything to do with cars!
He was SO excited!
"Cah!!"
A new cars sippy cup, cars shirt, cars coloring book, 2 new cars,
sidewalk chalk, and eggs filled with cookies- Yum!
My Boys before church-- SO handsome! :-)
Our one and only family photo from Easter Sunday.
little man would NOT cooperate!
Insert massive meltdown here.
Bummer, because he looked like such a stud.
After dinner we "hid" eggs around the house for the kiddos to find!
The caught the hang of it quickly.
But, Elijah was more interested in eating the cookies INSIDE the eggs!
Little miss Libby finding eggs!
Showing mama his eggs! He learned a new word- egg. It sounds more like "Aaa" with just the "a" sound. It takes a while for us to figure out that that is what he's trying to say!
Eli's cool cars basket from Grandma and Papa- he Loves it!
Here he is saying "fish!!"
The Mama's!
Both with babies on the way! :-)
I'm 26 weeks along and Jacque is 10 weeks along.
So exciting.
The daddies.
Doin' what they do best :-)
Happy Easter!!
