I've been taking lots of pictures on my phone lately, well, always! I've shared a few here and there on Facebook and through texts to family but figured I'd dump them here.
Life is SO good lately and I love seeing pictures of our family memories that I caught in the moment.
Best friends.
Eli and Daddy are the best of buds. Eli's love for his dada is SO big. His new thing is to hug him close and hold him around his neck tight. It's the cutest sight. E doesn't hug mama like that ever... so I know it's just part of the special relationship they have! He will lay on dada and hold onto his neck and loves being with him at all times. I LOVE their relationship. Colin is the best daddy any little boy could ask for. Can't wait for Luke to join the team ;-)
Sleepy little man.
We all know Elijah LOVES his dogs! He has a good collection going. His new thing is getting to chose one dog to sleep with each nap and night time. He doesn't play favorites and usually rotates through them all during the week. Between blankie and a dog, this boy is a great sleeper! It's too cute!
Walkin' Boy.
This kid LOVES the outdoors. We have known that for awhile, but it's only growing into more of a passion- more like obsession!. He cannot get enough. He could spend hours outside and we do laps walking around the apartment building. He still cries almost every time we make him come inside. He goes up to every car, of course to inspect it. His face literally lights up when we even mention the words "walk" or "outside" so we have to use them wisely and have even started spelling them when we don't want his little ears hearing the words while we're discussing plans and such! Haha! :-)
Family Ice Cream Dates.
Such fun! With the nicer spring-like weather we've been spending more time on family walks and even had our first family ice cream date to the Big Dipper for Yummy ice cream treat! Elijah could not get enough... as you can tell in the pictures! He make a mess and eats half of mama's ice cream cone but is SO happy and loves every moment! Sure there are many more trips to the Big Dipper Ice Cream shop to come!
Cars.
He's obsessed. Simply obsessed with cars. Every car he sees he yells at and gets excited. He has quite a few little cars and carries them around on trips out of the house keeping them close or in his car seat for the ride. He got to wear his new Cars shirt and his face would light up whenever we asked him what was on his shirt-- "Cah!" It's too cute. His smile is precious and I love when he's such a happy boy!
Lazy Sunday.
Today we enjoyed church service, naps, and a lazy afternoon hanging out watching a baseball game and a movie. Mama is 26.5 weeks very prego and showing off the bump here before church. We were hoping to go on a walk this evening but the weather has been a bit dreary and rainy so we decided to hang inside. Eli loves watching "a dah dall" (in other words Baseball). Daddy and Elijah watch many Colorado Rockies game together. Elijah will sit and cuddle while the two watch the games on the iPad. Today, mama joined the cuddles. In one of the pics you can catch ALL three of my boys watching the game-- the large grey bump is Luke kicking away inside the belly while Eli cuddles on daddy's lap and we all watched the game. Love lazy days with my boys.
Such sweet times.
We're thankful today and everyday.
Here's to another Happy Week!
