September Already?

I cannot believe it's september already.... 
Summer flew by and we're into our new fall routine and schedule. September brings the start of Colin's last year of school, the start of Colin's application and interview process and getting a good job for our future and family (please pray for this!), the start of me watching Eli's friend Libby on Mondays and Tuesday while still working Wed-Fri nights, the start of chilly weather and crisp mornings, start of having to buy our growing E some new fall/winter clothes since we had none his size and so he's ready for the colder weather that is soon to come, and the start of the much anticipated football season :-) 


September is going to be a good month! 


Labor day weekend was spent with Oma, Opa, and uncle Blake. We enjoyed their visit so much. Elijah liked swimming lots and Uncle Blake practiced "babysitting" as he walked all around with E in the hotel and read him books. We're thankful for time spent with family. Uncle Jakey is visiting for a Griz game this coming weekend (and we can't wait to take him out on Saturday- just gotta find a babysitter for Mr E!). The end of the month will bring the Gerstner grandparents for a visit and another football game! 
YAY! 

Here are some highlights from our weekend.  
In a nutshell: Eli and Blake reading books, swimming, cuddles with Oma, out for breakfast at Paul's Pancake Parlor. :-)

Still hoping one of these days he'll decide to learn to walk..... or talk! :-)

Our lives are busy busy, but definitely good. I know before we know it I'll be saying it's already October. I'm excited for fall- but let me be specific in saying that I'm NOT excited for winter. I'm praying for a LONG fall full of chilly (but not cold) days, gorgeous walks by the river, beautiful colors, lots of leaves, and many trips to the Corn Maze with Elijah!
