The Rest of Our Weekend

So, I wanted to get back on here and post some pics form the rest of our weekend! Yesterday we went to the mall to visit the puppies. Well, lets be honest, we went tot he mall so Mama and Dada could get our new phones (which we LOVE). And, of course, being at the mall means we go visit the puppies. It is SO cute how excited Eli gets when we even talk about dogs or going to visit them. We were in the verizon store taking FOREVER waiting to get helped, picking out phones, setting up our phones, etc etc. Eli was being great but definitely getting antsy and we were doing anything to keep him occupied. He was charming a lady with his beautiful eyes. We fed him and gave him toys. When he seemed to want anything but to be in the stroller, we told him when we were done we got to go see the puppies. His eyes literally lit up and he giggled and smiled. He was so excited! So, we walked out of Verizon, two very happy costumers, albeit with a lot less mulah in our pockets, but LOVING our new iPhone 4's we both got. We headed to the puppies. Elijah walked along the glass looking in at the dogs and giggling and smiling. I just love watching him.

After the mall we headed to a spot that is starting to be special to our little family of three, the McClay Flats. It's a little nature trail that brings you down by the river and has some of the best scenery for pictures outside. We visited there once before but weren't able to stay long, but this time we stayed for a while and let Elijah play on the rocks, get very dirty with permission from his Mama, and even try to touch the water. We had to keep him from trying to crawl IN the river! Most of the E pics I shared on his 15 month post, but here are some of the beautiful setting pictures...We can't wait to go back when the colors are changing to get some cool Fall pictures with E.

Today we enjoyed a great church service. Eli is SLOWLY getting a LITTLE better at sitting through the first part of church (with lots of snacks, milk, books, and anything else we can give him to keep him busy). Then he went to nursery and after crying it out for a few minutes when Daddy left him, he stayed and was happy and played the whole time (Thank goodness!). We rushed home after church because Daddy had important business to get to (NOT really...it was the Bronco's game on TV!) haha! So, I snapped a few photos of my boys watching the game in their jerseys. We also got to video chat (on our Awesome iPhones even!!!) a bit with Aunties Jess and Jen, Oma and cousin Nathan! What a blessing it is to see them, but it always makes us miss being there with them!

Daddy was too busy watching the game, he missed a cute cheering pic with E.

Oh, those EYES!!!!!

Those boys...focused on the game...

Oh MY... i LOVE that SMILE :-)

HAPPY SUNDAY!
