Quick Update

So, apparently, kids don't get the memo on this whole "get an extra hour of sleep" thing. Nope. Not mine anyways. I've heard this from other moms... but I'm experiencing it full force this year. My sweet little boy just can't seem to sleep past the 6:30 mark. YUCK. He hasn't woke up before 7 in SO long. But now, two days in a row, he's ready to get up earlier than normal. He's just so cute. But, he'd be even cuter if he let me sleep till his normal hour-- around 7:30-8:30. That would be nice of him. :) haha! This mama is TIRED!

Just wanted to check in and talk about what's goin' on here. We're a happy busy family. Waiting and working on trusting God in his plan for our future. No updates on jobs for the hubs. We go through days where we are positive and upbeat... but unfortunately we go through days that are rough and we fail to trust  in God. Its a roller coaster for sure. But, we're working on more days being more positive. We know something will come up and whatever it is will be what's best for us. Little man is busy as always (wait, don't I always say that?). He really is though! I love that he's getting interested in reading books again and he'll bring you book after book and ask to sit on your lap and read them. we LOVE it! He's active and walks everywhere. He's silly and plays all sorts of "peek-a-boo" games with his blankets and the curtains. He's still trying to talk... and hopefully getting closer :).  Mama got a membership to the YMCA. This is good for multiple reasons. A hopefully happier/healthier mama. And a place for Elijah and Libby to go and run around (in the child care center). More toys and more room... and most importantly it gets us out from being cooped up in the tiny apartment, especially something that will be good when winter hits!

We're looking forward to Mama's Birthday coming up (no clue what we'll do or how we'll celebrate) but its still a good day to look forward to. Not sure how I feel about turning 25, and I did request we actually do SOMETHING to celebrate since we didn't really do anything last year. Then comes Thanksgiving. We're bummed we won't go home this year to be with family and Mama probably has to work that week. But, Daddy and E get some quality time together those days and the boys plan on making a feast for us to eat before I go to work on Thanksgiving Night.

Well, just a quick update for everyone. We're extremely happy and busy and blessed. It will be a busy month. And before we know it we'll be getting ready for Christmas! So excited for the Holidays!! :-)

Here is E and his new xylophone! He loves it! :)
