It was mama's birthday weekend and we had fun!! :) Quarter of a century old?? Not sure how that happened! But I sure am a blessed mama! What a good weekend of celebrating. Oma, Jen & Nathan, and Jakeypoo came to surprise me for visit! How fun! We watched football, the girls got some shopping done, we ate YUMMY food, and enjoyed swimming at the hotel. It was a short and sweet trip and I loved seeing some family! After they left yesterday we had a relaxing ( and of course, nap included) afternoon. My dear friend brought me some yummy cupcakes and was kind enough to take some photos of us outside for our christmas card! It was chilly! And Elijah wasn't feeling particularly smiley but we got a few good ones that might just work. Hey- at least he wasn't crying! :) After pictures Mama and Daddy enjoyed a date night while some friends stayed with E. We LOVED a lovely dinner out, uninterrupted by a cute little almost 17 month old, and enjoyed strolling around coffee in hand through Barnes and Nobel and Target. It was a good night out with the hubs. I really loved every minute of an evening out hand-in-hand with my groom. He sure is amazing!!! We've still been busy around here. This weekend brings Thanksgiving and on the same day... Elijah is officially 17 months old! Wowsa! Until my next post about all we're thankful for... I'll share some photos from our chilly evening out in the snow in hopes for a christmas card picture! Much Love to everyone <3
