Weekend in CDA

Memorial Day Weekend 2011:
Couer D'Alene, Idaho
A Photo Blog

Eli's 1st Birthday Present from Mama & Daddy...
A child seat for our bikes and a cool matching helmet!
Looking forward to many bike rides this summer.
Elijah did fantastic- put up with the cold temps-
and was so chill and relaxed in his seat.
What a great gift! :)

What a stud muffin!

My favorite part of the trip was bike rides along the path by the lake

Another favorite part- the CHOCOLATE Shop! :)
We enjoyed some delicious fudge and truffles!

Lunch at the pub
Watching Soccer, Yummy food,
 Grandpa reading to Eli

Hangin' out in Downtown Couer D'Alene
We enjoyed strolling the street, checking out the shops,
and enjoying a little sunshine!

Elijah is SUCH a ladies man ;-)

Love my sweet little family!
So happy Elijah loved his birthday present-
because we do too :)

Here come Daddy and Grandpa
running the Couer D'Alene Marathon
Colin's 1st marathon- Grandpa's 7th!!!!

Couple of amazing men right there...

Eli hangin' with grandma while we wait to watch
Daddy and Grandpa run bye!

YAY daddy- you finished!
26.2 miles: 4 hrs. 28 min.
Fabulous!

We are SO proud of Daddy!!!

The Gerstner Runners!

My Handsome hubby- what a Rock Star!

Eli's shirt: Eat My Daddy's Dust
:)

Dinner at our favorite place --
Cedars Floating Restaurant on the Lake.
Here's a beautiful rainbow over the lake for our view.

Elijah was SUCH a grandpa's boy this weekend.
Mostly, because Grandpa fed him whatever he wanted :)
Here is Eli trying mashed potatoes dipped in Au Jus Sauce!

Eli is always the center of attention wherever we go ;-)

We did a lot of reminiscing about our honeymoon in Couer D'Alene
just 2 years ago! I can't believe it!

E was VERY full after dinner. His budah belly came out
and he was inspecting it!

Cuddles with Grandpa

Elijah conquered steps for the first time this weekend.
He got up 3 of them before he realized he was scared
and he wouldn't go up or down. :)

On a late night walk by the beach...
and grandpa gave Eli a giant branch to 'play' with! haha!

Love my hubby.
This place will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Silly Siblings!

Very tired boy... but VERY beautiful eyes.
LOVE them.

We decided to re-create our honeymoon picture in this exact spot.

(I am SO wishing we had taken this pic last May
when we went back and I was a very big 8.5 month pregnant lady
anxiously waiting for our little man.)

Here is the one from June 2009- Honeymoon:

Just 2 years later... can't believe how much has changed.
Even more blessed and more in love than ever! :)

Beautiful little family!

Eli playing "peek-a-boo" with Grandpa.
Big smiles!!

Elijah's "game face" that Daddy taught him.
What a sweet lil' love bug.

What a fabulous weekend.
It really was perfect.
A little bit of sunshine.
Wonderful time spent with family.
Sweet memories made.

I'm so blessed with my lovely little family.
So very thankful for my 2 boys.
Tonight I'm tired, but happy and content.
