Today was Eli's first ever football game as we went to the Grizzlies home opener against Western State. The Mountaineers should have just stayed on the bus. After exactly 2 minutes and four seconds of game time, the score was 21-0 Griz. Yes, we scored three touchdowns in two minutes. Eli loved it and soaked up the atmosphere. The only time he cried during the game was following an atrocious play by our defense, so his frustration was understandable. Tailgating was fun as we caught up with some friends and showed off our bundle of joy. Seems like everywhere we go people love to oogle over Eli. Ultimately, the Griz won, in a thrilling game, 73-2. Yes, Western State only scored 2 points, which to me sounds worse than not scoring at all.

Preparing for the thunderstorm! The game was delayed for quite a bit as a little thunderboomer went through.
Some kind people behind us took this picture. We had to keep our eye on them, as even they admitted that they wanted to kidnap Eli.
