Missoula Weekend 2014

Missoula, MT will always hold a special place in our hearts. We were married in Billings June 2009 and moved to Missoula in July 2009. We began our first sweet months of marriage and soon welcomed our first baby in Missoula. We started our family and spent 3 years making memories there in our tiny 500 sq foot apartment. We LOVED going to the football games. We had so much fun. And we also made so many sweet friendships and found a church family whom we loved. We had our second son in Missoula before moving back to Billings. That said, when we moved back home to Billings we were so excited to be closer to family, but we knew we were leaving a special piece of our hearts in Missoula and we made a promise to try to go back each year to see friends, attend church, and hopefully go to a football game. And so far, we have! It's alway s a quick weekend trip there and back but it's always SO worth it. The boys loved the football game. We kept commenting on how focused and memorized LT was. He could not stop watching everything and was soaking it all in. (We think he's definitely going to be a football player!) Eli learned the various cheers and loved "making some noise" while we played defense. Ike was a champ and napped in the Ergo for most of the game, but also got out at halftime and charmed the ladies next to us. We got to stay with our dear friends Jacque & Andrew (and Libby, Gunnar, & Matthias). It's so fun having kids the same ages and staying so close to them even though we've moved. We are so thankful for their friendships. We also attended All Souls and go to see our good friends from church. So many memories and such a sweet time every time we get to visit. So thankful for this special place and all the memories we hold dear. I hope our boys continue to love the football games and who knows... maybe one of them will be a Griz! That said, we also love the Bobcats (since Mama went to school there!) and we wouldn't mind having one of each! ;-)
