Pumpkin Patch & Fall Fun

We were blessed with the most beautiful, gorgeous, unseasonably warm FALL. Fall is my favorite. Always will be. But usually our wonderful fall is cut short by old man winter who hits us with early snow storms and cold temps. This year, we enjoyed our lovely weather as much as possible and soaked  it up. And as I sit here writing this it is snowing the first snow of the year. We officially made it to November 10th. And we enjoyed every single day spent in the sunshine, leaves, and vibrant colors that made up our Autumn.
We took our annual trip to the Pumpkin Patch and Grandpa's Farm back in October with the family. This is a special thing we've done each year and the boys love it. There is a cow tractor ride, animals, lots of activities, and we end it with picking out a pumpkin for each boy and taking family pics :) Tons of fun and a tradition we'll definitely keep up over the years.

The boys each picked their Pumpkins out!
Of course, E wanted a white one again. So we thought it was fitting to get Ike a white one as well.

Pumpkin Patch 2014

The boys soaked up our last weekend of warm weather with an AWESOME time playing in the leaves at Nana & Papa's backyard. They were "helping" papa rake... just not sure they did much work. More play! ;-) There were tons of them. The boys would run and jump, hide in the Huge pile while Papa would bury them with the leaves he was raking. Nana took some pictures on her camera, but Mama captured a few on her phone. Such great colors! You can barely tell the boys were having any fun. ;-)

So today we say Goodbye to the vibrant colors and crunchy leaves and...
Hello to winter wonderland and white fluffy snowflakes!!!
