Brothers

These two are so great. I absolutely adore their relationship that continues to grow. Their bond is getting closer and closer. Luke clearly adores his big brother. And big bro Eli has been pretty good with having a new shadow follow him everywhere and wanting all of his toys! :-)

A few of my favorite things about these brothers:
*In the morning Elijah loves to wake up Baby Luke. He opens the door and says "HI baby luuuuke" and then stands on the side of the crib to pat him or kiss him. Luke responds by beaming with a huge smile and standing up to get closer to E.
*After breakfast, Eli always asks his brother "You come play cars with me baby luke?"
*After nap time, Luke is the first to wake. So he gets to wake Elijah up from his nap. I go in there and set Luke on E's bed with him. Sleepy Eli will respond by "ohhhh hi. Baby luuuuke. You come get me."
*Eli always has to kiss baby luke goodnight. And as of recently, insists on singing him Twinkle Twinkle and Jesus Loves Me.
*Throughout the day, I often catch Eli telling Luke "ohhh baby Luuukke... you're so cuuute!"
*Luke loves to do whatever big brother is doing and wants to play with him and steal  share his cars :)
*Recently E was having a tough time sharing with LT. Daddy explained to Eli that Lukey just wants to be just like him. He loves him and looks up to him. E was better and allowed him "just one car!" Haha! 
*Elijah likes to help give Luke food (insert the cheerios picture here!) 
*When I ask him to, E will go "check on baby luke" to see what he's up to. And I often hear him say "Oh silly Baby Luuuuuke what doin?" 


These two are busy, busy boys and keep me on my toes. Hence the reason for not blogging as much, even though I really do love to. :-) We are looking forward to enjoying our Summer days full of walks and adventures outside!! Can't believe they'll be 1 and 3 in just over a month!! AHH!

Side note: NO- E is not potty trained yet. But we've bought him some cool big boy underwear. And he's tried going potty more... and has been successful a couple times :) 

It's one of our planned adventures for the Summer!
