"We Never know the love of our parents for us...
until we become parents ourselves"
This weekend we enjoyed a visit from some of our favorite people. Honestly, it had only been a month and a half since we had seen family, but we were so excited to spend time with them again as well as show off all the new things Elijah does and how he's changed since they saw him last. Our weekend started with Grandma and Grandpa Gerstner visiting! We couldn't wait for their arrival... and it turned out to be a great time as always. We enjoyed each other's company, catching up on life, work, school, and the happenings of Eli. We also had some amazing food, checked out the Boat Show that was at the mall (Grandpa and Daddy liked this part best) while Grandma and Mama shopped!
My favorite (and most definitely Elijah's favorite) part of the weekend was the Swimming!!!
E's Cool New Crab Swim Trunks!
Testing out the water....
LOVIN' IT! :-)
Splashing and Playing with the Pirate Toys
My little man who Loves the water...
Guess we might have to get a season pass to the pool!
Seriously... nothing is cuter and more innocent than watching Eli splash and squeal in delight as he played in the kiddy pool at the hotel. He was SO delighted! Even with being sick and completely off his sleep schedule... he was the happiest kid in the pool. I had a couple videos taken on my camera... I'm going to try to figure out how to get them uploaded to share with everyone!
SO happy and so very CUUUTE!
Had to share this pic...After a long eventful day:
This is what happens when Grandma and Grandpa are babysitting :)
All 3 are Passed Out!

We also enjoyed a fabulous visit from Aunt Jen and Uncle Steve!! We were excited to spend Sunday evening with them at dinner and hanging out. Elijah squealed and screamed with happiness as he pat Nathan in Auntie Jen's belly. Aunt Jen also read the cousins a book while I felt the belly for Nathan's kicks! SO fun! We can't wait for the boys to be together and have a great friendship!
Eli telling Nathan to hurry up and come out to play!
Jen reading the boys a book.... my hand waiting for N's kicks!
Elijah started clapping this weekend!
Here he is showing off his new skill. He also loves to give Hi-Fives!
:-)
Today was a great family day. Nothing special: just being together and attempting to be productive! I love having Colin home (since he didn't have class today) Grocery shopping, laundry, and TONS of baby food making were on the agenda!
So happy... love my family... and love my life! <3
