Isaac- 5 Months

Or Mr Isaac. 
You are 5 months old and I truly wish time would slow down. However, you are so much fun, growing well, doing new things, and cute as EVER!! 

This is you working so hard on trying to sit up. A day before this picture, you just flopped down and face planted. So- I consider this progress :-) You could only hold your head up for a few seconds! But, I love this pic of you looking down. I spy some gorgeous eye lashes, those CHEEKS, that little cute mouth, that hair slowly growing, those arm rolls, dimples in your hand, and long monkey toes. Just can't get enough.

Here are some fun facts about you at 5 Months.

*Mostly 3 and 3-6 Month clothes... probably should move to 6 month soon!
*Size 2 diapers still
*Weigh around 16 + pounds
*Smiling lots and sharing more giggles.
*The laughing is kind of rare, but it is simply amazing when you let it out!
* Jabbering and "talking" more.
*Love to chew on your hands, fingers, or anything that you can get in your mouth!
*Love to play with your feet and toes
*No more binky, you love to suck your left thumb.
*Tummy sleeper all the time now!
*Sleeping through the night again (YAY!) after a month of a little sleep regression and waking to nurse in the night.
*Rolling both ways and scooting all over on your back!
*Not the best core, and you don't sit up well, but you're trying!
*Tried your first solids- oatmeal- at  4.5 months. Could kinda care less about it.
*At exactly 5 months you tried your first real food- banana! And you couldn't slurp it up fast enough! 
*You drool like crazy.
*I call your cheeks- jowls. They are SO big, gang down almost, and so very kissable.
*You can be a pretty serious guy.
*Saw the ophthalmologist for the first time and not that we needed it, but diagnosis confirmed you are our second angel boy!
*Rolly polly, squishy, and squeezable.
*You Put up with a lot from your big brothers, but they sure do adore you!
*You will either be the most laid back relaxed kid, or you'll quickly learn to fight back and stand up against those crazy big brothers.
*Gorgeous white sparkly eye lashes that just keep getting longer.
*You can be pretty finicky about your eating- sometimes fussing or refusing to nurse or even bottle. But, other times you do just fine.
*Still nursing or drinking a bottle about 5 times a day.
*Sweet as pie.
*Still a Mama's boy and a little spoiled.
*You are cute and sweet and loved more than you'll ever know!

We love you Isaac Jacob. You are simply the more precious baby. When you smile- you smile with your whole face. You light up our world. And, we love you to the MOON & BACK!
