Halloween 2013

We often joke that we live in a zoo. The boys are crazy busy. Daddy is the zoo keeper. Ha! So... we thought we'd go with this theme as our Halloween costumes this year. Mama and Dada didn't get our costumes together in time, but the boys sure did make some cute wild zoo animals. Eli chose the Lion. He picked it out and was so excited! Luke didn't have much say- but he was a mighty cute Monkey!

The week of Halloween we carved pumpkins and had pumpkin seeds, hot cocoa, and read some fall/pumpkin books in the skeleton jammies! So much fun.

Halloween day E got to wear his costume to school. He was SO excited ROAR and be a lion all day. They carved pumpkins and ate too much sweets. After school we went to visit Papa at work. We then went to see Daddy and the judge. We enjoyed a yummy lunch and did a little trick or treating downtown on our walk back to the car. The boys were exhausted!!! Too much fun (and candy!) After naps and dinner we did a little trick or treating in the new hood we live in -- which takes holidays pretty seriously!! It was so fun to walk around and meet some new neighbors. We then we to the church for Trunk or Treat!! The boys were in good moods and enjoyed running around, seeing friends, and eating candy (of course!) We STILL have candy left over. And at this rate-- Mama might have to eat it all. Haha! :) Here are some fun pics from our fun day with two silly animals.

We had such a blast this year. Already thinking of theme costumes for next year-- we want to do a whole family theme. Can't wait till we find out what the baby is so we can know boy or girl to add to the family!!! :)
