Blessings

I've been reflecting lately just how blessed we are. I use that term a lot. But I truly do mean it. When I sit back and think on all that God has given us-- I am left speechless sometimes.

Colin and I have been talking a lot about how Good God Is. We have always felt that way, don't get me wrong, but recently things in our life just have worked out. And it always points us to the goodness of God.

Times we were worried or anxious... we would pray that God's will would be done. No matter what it was. We prayed that we would have the strength to accept His Will for our lives..... in the area of work, kids, house, our future etc. In the sermon this week a phrase caught my attention: Christ is arranging Everything for our good.  He already has this Perfect Plan for our lives. And everything will work out. And... it has.

Our anxieties over Colin's job, a house for us to buy and make our home to raise our kids in, and the future of our family. These things have been getting answered one day at a time. Things are falling into place and we give God all the Glory. We are so incredibly blessed and Thank God each day for the gifts he's given us......
To name a few:
*Family: A family who we are so incredibly close to and we're so thankful we now live near them. A family who has encouraged us along this journey with its ups and downs. A family who is more like best friends and who we spend the majority of our time with. A family who loves our kids and has helped us in so many ways with watching them and loving them so very much.
*Healthy kids: Two busy, crazy, happy, healthy boys who light up our lives. May we never let a day pass without thanking God for them. And never take them for granted.
*Our Marriage: A healthy bond and friendship rooted in Christ. I am so thankful for the amazing leader Colin has been for our family. He is the calm, level-headed Christ-like husband to me and father to our kids.
*Jobs: In a time where not everyone can get a job, we both have jobs that not only pay well, but ones we love. We both are able to do something important and meaningful and enjoy doing it.
*Home: At age 26 and 27 we will be building our first home. Sometimes we cannot even believe it is real. We do not take for granted how amazing this process has been and how blessed we are to not only buy a home, but build the first house we'll ever own and one that we will love and live in for a VERY long time.
*Church/Small Group: God has planted us in a Church that has already been working to grow us and A small group full of Godly friends which constantly pray and encourage us.
*Friends: We have some awesome friends that are more like family to us. Especially the ones who love our kids as if they were there own. We are so thankful for good solid friendships with so many, many people.
*New Life: For adding to the family, another boy cousin and nephew to kiss and snuggle, play with and love. The miracle of life is always precious and reminds us of God's goodness. It also reminds us how much God has given up for us. His only SON.... I am just thankful that he was not Selfish like me, and would not withhold even his own son to save us sinners.

Life is God right now. Really God.

And GOD is Good. All the Time.

Luke and Eli love their new baby cousin "Baby Oah"

I REALLY love this sweet baby boy and feel especially close to him.
Honored to be there for his Birth Day.

If this doesn't make you wanna melt in cute baby boy squishy goodness.
 I don't know what will.

My boys praising "Hallelujah!!" at the dinner table.
Thank you Jesus for these precious gifts.

So much JOY in our lives! :)
