So, I have lots to blog about and catch up with but I thought I'd first start but dumping some of my cell phone pics to the computer to share them. Eli is always up to something....
and sometimes I get to catch his cuteness on my phone to share!
E loves eating apples with Daddy.
Every time daddy eats one, E gets to sit on his lap and share with him
I snuck up on them and caught this pic, neither were ready for the camera as you can tell ;-)
Eli in his beloved bath time.
The kid could lay in there forever.
He even gets brave and dunks his head sometimes too.
But, then he's almost immediately "daaah da"
which is Eli language for all done.
Speaking of bath time....
E has spent soo much one on one time with daddy recently that he's attached to dada.
He loves his daddy more than anyone and I caught this pic the other night when he wouldn't even come to mama for his favorite bath time. Which indeed, did make me a bit sad.
He clung to dadda's leg until mama carried his little naked body to bath time. And then he decided maybe mama wasn't too bad. :)
This picture doesn't do it justice.
Eli got his own bowl of spaghetti for the first time.
He started attempting it with his spoon.
He soon realized fist-fulls were much faster and easier.
His hands and face were orange by the end and the whole high chair needed cleaned.
But, It was worth it. :)
Elijah got Fridge Phonics for christmas from Grandma & Grandpa.
HE LOVES THEM.
We find him at the fridge all the time putting letters in and hearing what each letter says.
We also have heard the ABC song a million times already because he likes to play that over and over.
Mama and Dada like them too- because he's already learning different sounds. Yesterday we learned the sound for C. So, even if he can't say cat or car yet, at least we ask him to say the C sound and he does.
Slowly but surely... we'll get this kid using his words! :)
While we were home in Billings Elijah got to make his very first Build-A-Bear.
Mama saw this really cute puppy and I'm not sure who wanted it more, Eli or mama.
But E got to do the honors and built his first bear. He wasn't so sure about the machine, but in the end thought it was pretty cool. His little dog is simply named "DOG". Because thats all Eli says when he sees it. He gets kisses every day and is one of the many stuffed dogs we now own.
Can you tell our son's favorite word and favorite animal yet?
DOGS!!! :)
Here is E with his dog looking at the machine where the stuffing comes from. He thought it was pretty cool! I'll have to get a picture of the front view of DOG. Because he really is cute!
E is obsessed with brushing his teeth. Well, let me first say he asks to do it a million times a day. He will do his "sign" for brushing his teeth and goes to the bathroom and requests it. BUT- when it comes down to it- he doesn't want US to brush them, he wants to. We usually fight him for the first minute to get them brushed well and then he gets to take over and do the finishing work.
And he's always so proud.
Next up: A blog about our holidays
Only a few weeks late, better than never, right? :)
