Isaac- 11 Months

Oh Baby Ike!
11 months old. Just one month shy of ONE. What a ride it's been. And such a joy you are.

Here is a quick list of facts about you at 11 months.

At 11 months you, Isaac Jacob, are
*still wearing 6-12, 9 month, 9-12 month clothing
*weighing around 19-20 pounds I think
*wearing size 3 diapers
*wearing size 3-4 shoe
*looking cute with your 3 teeth (two center bottom, one center top)
*eating mostly all table food.
*liking trying new foods (we discovered your LOVE for corned beef and cabbage this month!)
*getting such long hair- on top and in back! (I've almost wondered when we'll need to trim the back!)
*weaning from mama and the bottle.
*nursing/taking bottle just 3 times a day- in morning, after your afternoon nap, and before bed
*drinking out of a big boy cup for lunch and dinner and throughout the day
*still in that infant car seat, but SOON we'll make the switch to the big boy one.
*taking two naps (1-2 hours in morning. 2-3 in afternoon)
*sleeping around 11-12 hours a night.
*jabbering and chuckling all the time.
*starting to take toys from your brothers and giving Luke a taste of his own medicine ;-)
*crawling everywhere
*into everything
*pulling yourself up to anything.
*busy busy busy!
*going both up and DOWN the stairs. (you quickly learned the fast/safe/tummy method to sliding down!)
*not wanting to take steps. (Just a couple here and there while pushing something- either a kitchen chair or a push toy)
*learning to keep your hat and sunglasses on. (slowly but surely!)
*loving to explore outside
*loving balloons
*working on signs- please, milk, more.
*have pretty much conquered the "all done" sign when we prompt you
*not saying any "real" words. Just jabber. But I guess we could count Dada since you say that.
*giving kisses and attacking our faces when we ask for them
*loving playing with your big brothers.
*loving bath time and splashing like crazy (you could stay in there forever if we let you!)
*getting such a fun and goofy personality.
*giving the best scrunchy nose with one big tooth showing grins. I LOVE THEM.

And I love YOU, little Man! Next month, for your first birthday, I'll do a longer more detailed blog about you at one year old. Can't quite believe it... but I know it will be here before I know it!
